Development Intern
Position Description: We are seeking an intern to support and execute the Company’s business development and operations activities. The intern will work closely with the Head of Operations and the Operations staff to analyze, research, create collateral and manage various business development and operations projects.
Division: The Operations Division is responsible for overseeing the organization’s policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Operations Division will work in conjunction with the Business Development Division which identifies opportunities and helps to implement the strategic plan of the company, primarily working with marketing, sales, and development teams to execute business development initiatives.
Duties: Under the direction of the Head of Operations, the Intern will perform and be exposed to the following functions:
- Create marketing materials for Company and its potential capital raising opportunities;
- Help to create investor information (i.e., audio and text files) for Company and its current capital raising initiatives;
- Assist in research and writing Company business plan;
- Assist in due diligence process on new acquisition projects;
- Assist in preparing proposal, investor and loan packages;
- Develop project budgets, cash flow projections, and reporting;
- Prepare investment summaries for internal use and for use with equity partners and lending institutions; and
- Complete financial modeling to facilitate in operational decision making;
Qualifications: Previous experience working in an administrative environment or in project management is a plus. Must have a strong work ethic, be highly organized and detail-oriented, be proficient in Microsoft products, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
Compensation: Class credit.
